Terraforming Mars requires an increase in temperature and oxygen levels. By heating up the planet with CO2 emissions, Mars could heat up and the icy waters can release moisture to the air. These functions help Mars to build up a life-supporting atmosphere. In addition, plants play an essential role in producing oxygen.
For many decades people have been inhabiting Mars and they have brought different species with them to test out the most suitable species on the Martian environment. The terraforming Mars process has been succeeded, and cities have been formed around Mars. Among the evolution of the ecosystem, people have developed the ability to communicate with species using the mycelium network or wood wide web.
This multi-species communication provides and maintains the most beneficial living conditions for plants to thrive in the biosphere. People have developed devices that combine the plants and fungus multi-sensorial communication into a visual, understandable form for people. People are living in symbiosis with fungi and plants as they now have a system that allows them to understand and benefit each other
